Many event venues do not offer a dance floor (or they have an incredibly old, beat-up floor). Our dance floors can be configured as a square or rectangular shape.
The rule of thumb is to assume that 33% of your guests will be dancing at any given time. Then, each dancer need about 8-10 square feet of elbow room to actually dance! So, as an example:
100 guest wedding = 33 dancers @ 8 to 10 sq ft per person ~ 300 sq ft, which is an 18x18 dance floor.
